"Souillac en Jazz" Festival

Right from the very first year, the festival programming has been based on two main principles : reaching people who are not necessarily jazz fans and offering some more unusual music and musicians This programming is very demanding, often going off the beaten track, and beside the respectable Romanesque abbey church, the faithful audiences, always ready for something new, enjoy original, exciting concerts .

in a rural location, the Sim Copans Festival forms an integral part of the development and enhancement of our heritage. The local network of associations lends its support : support in the domain of tourism, with rambling, good food and wine and exploration of our architectural heritage , cultural and artistic support with film, photography, painting, dance, literature and theatre.

For more than thirty years, each festival has had a theme. For seven days, jazz spreads around the town, on the squares, in the streets and in the bars and, insatiable, moves into the neighbouring districts.
